As we approach a new year, we also see fresh perspectives, developments and movements across the whisky industry and market. The following year marks the emergence of unique and young distilleries ready to make a mark along with the revival of traditional production methods as well. The distillery action is expanding with the coming of distilleries around Italy like Strata Ferrata along with urban distilleries like Copenhagen Distillery or the Distillery de Paris which are home to quirky and modern whiskies. Another one to watch for is Villa de Verda with four extraordinarily distinctive expressions of whisky. The Manx Whisky Company is all set to release new batches and on the other hand, The Chamberick in the Netherlands will be releasing its first whisky soon, contributing to a range of small Dutch distilleries making big moves in the industry.
